ABCT Board of Directors Statement Regarding the Hyatt
The Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) was informed of a recent incident involving the Hyatt Regency Denver and National Association of School Psychologists and their President Dr. Celeste Malone. In recognition of our ongoing relationship with the Hyatt Corporation and our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, access and justice (DEIAJ), we have been monitoring the situation closely. We condemn the original incident in Denver.
Since the incident, our President Dr. Jill Ehrenreich-May and our Board of Directors have called several meetings with ABCT staff and Hyatt leadership to voice our concerns over the incident and ensure adequate practices are initiated to prevent any similar incident in the future. We appreciate the Hyatt Corporation acting in line with their values to address this incident and their partnership to ensure that all convention attendees are treated with dignity and respect in Seattle. For more information, you may contact our Senior Communications Manager Ewan Johnson ([email protected]).

ABCT Board of Directors
