When does the abstract portal open? When does the portal close for submissions?
The portal will open on Monday, September 1, 2025 and close on Friday, December 12, 2025. There will be a second call for posters in January, 2026.

What accommodations are included in the congress room block? When can attendees make hotel reservations?
Attendees will be able to make hotel reservations beginning on September 1 at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis hotel. Both king–size and double-bedded rooms are available. There are a limited number of discounted rooms for students.
How do I register to attend the 2026 congress?
Registration will open sometime in September, 2025.
At that time, you may register online. A form will also be available to mail or fax into the ABCT offices (the congress host). To pay by check, complete the registration form available in PDF format on the WCCBT website.
A PDF of the program will be available and posted to the Congress web page at least two weeks before the start date of the
Registration for all Ticketed Sessions ( Master Clinician Seminars, In-Congress Workshops, Post Congress Workshops) requires an additional fee.
When does the Congress itinerary planner launch?
The planner will be available in April, 2026.
How do I use the Congress itinerary planner?
Enter your registration e-mail and registration confirmation number to login. Global search will allow you to look for sessions using presenter name, presentation title, poster presenter, poster, attendee or any selected word. The speaker search is divided into 2 separate lookups: one for posters only and the other for all other sessions. If you do not know your registration confirmation number, click on forgot confirmation number from the home registration link and reset. When setting up your profile in the planner, be sure to set your time zone to western USA daylight savings time. The system defaults to Central time.
Navigate to the session of interest. Click on the title of the sessions and then view the session abstract or description. To create your own personalized schedule, you must be registered first for the congress.
What events and sessions are scheduled in the Marriott Marquis?
A variety of scientific sessions, the Exhibit, all poster sessions, all committee meetings, all keynote addresses, all ticketed events, orientation to the congress.
Where are coffee breaks?
Coffee breaks are scheduled in the Marriott Marquis Exhibit Hall.
How do I cancel my registration?
Cancellation of registration must be submitted in writing via email and must be dated on or before 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, May 15, 2026 to receive a refund less a $50 USD registration cancellation processing fee. After May 15, 2026 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time no refunds will be granted. Cancellation for the WCCBT does not cancel membership dues paid during the registration process.
What services are available at the Marriott Marquis?
Childcare, prayer room, wellness room, nursing mother’s room, speaker ready room, coat check, and gender-neutral bathrooms.
Congress Mobile App

The Congress Mobile App is downloadable from the Apple store of the Google play store and will become available about one week before the first date of the meeting. Search for the app by looking for ‘ABCT Events’. If you planned your schedule using the itinerary planner, you will see your same personalized schedule on the app. To add a session or poster, click on the star next to the session title to favorite the session or poster and add it to your schedule.
