Voting for the 2026 Board of Directors Has Begun

Voting in the 2026 ABCT Leadership Elections has now begun. You may cast your confidential ballot online:

Only eligible voters are allowed to cast ballots, which also now include New Professional, Student, Postbaccalaureate, and Associate members. You must be a current ABCT member in good standing to vote. Voting will close on Thursday, April 30^th. 

Please cast one vote for a candidate from each category:

For ABCT President-elect (2026-2027)

For Representative at Large and Liaison to Membership Programs (2026-2029)

• Elissa Brown, PhD. – St. John’s University (Bio)

Each of these individuals has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the mission and values of ABCT, and we believe that each can and will contribute significantly to our continued success and growth, if elected. If you haven’t done so yet, please take the time to review their background, bios, and position statements by clicking on their bios above. The winners will be announced to the membership by May 15, 2025.

Additionally, please vote on the two referendum questions at the bottom of the ballot page – the first requests the membership vote to expand the board of directors from 7 to 13 members (including two nonvoting), to create an Executive Committee of the board, and to eliminate the Coordinator position. The second question asks to codify these changes in the bylaws.

 We encourage all ABCT members who are eligible to vote to engage with the candidates, and make your voice heard to shape the future of ABCT.

• Wednesday, April 1^st, 2026 — Voting portal opens
• Thursday, April 30^th, 2026 — Voting portal closes
• Friday, May 15^th, 2026 — Winners announced to membership
