the Behavior Therapist April 2026
Click here to begin reading the April 2026 issue of the Behavior Therapist.
Welcome to April! This month’s issue of the Behavior Therapist features an array of hot topics in the field, featuring original research exploring suicide risk and eating disorders, a forum investigating the role and potential dangers of AI use in therapy, and an op-ed piece revisiting critiques of ACT therapy. We’re also happy to highlight volunteering efforts within and for the ABCT, with thanks coming directly from our organization’s CEO, Dr. Courtney White, and our President, Dr. Carolyn Becker. ABCT elections are also ongoing, and represent another great way to get involved with the ABCT community. We’d also like to remind you all that the 2026 WCCBT Congress is just around the corner – we hope to see many of our members there in sunny San Francisco come June!
