Kate Morrison, PhD, is a psychologist based out of Salt Lake City, Utah where she runs a telehealth private practice specializing in anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, and related disorders.
She received her B.A. from the University of Nevada-Reno and Ph.D. from Utah State University. In both these programs, she studied and published articles on acceptance and commitment therapy, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, transdiagnostic behavior change, and clinical behavior analysis.
She completed her doctoral internship at the VA Puget Sound - Seattle Division and the Mood & Anxiety Disorder clinical postdoctoral fellowship with a research detail on the Telemental Health and Rural Outreach team.
Dr. Morrison has provided telehealth services since 2014 in university, research, VA, and private practice settings.
She values training others in the implementation of telehealth to improve access to mental healthcare, especially in rural areas.
