Learn more about Stephanie T. LoSavio, Ph.D., ABPP

If I can train hundreds of people, then that’s really thousands of patients whose lives we can touch.”

Dr. LoSavio, expert in PTSD treatments, embodies the confluence of research and clinical practice in this brief discussion of her approach to training, early and professional influences, and challenges.  She delves into the cornerstone of her work’s focus: how to make treatments more effective and efficient, and how to improve the reach of these treatments. Along the way she touches on training nonlicensed providers, the necessity of adapting treatments, the potential influence of AI, and the importance of therapists’ beliefs.

Dr. LoSavio is also the co-author of CPT self-help book, Getting Unstuck from PTSD: Using Cognitive Processing Therapy to Guide Your Recovery.
